Interesting Fastcompany article on some interventions Facebook makes to keep it's entrepreneurial startup culture alive. Among other the story is about the new facebook HQ, 'building 20' that's special not for it's quirky Frank Gehry design, or its full building roof park....Most of all it still breeds the start up 'garage' atmosphere' with raw concrete, industrious look and feel, pipes and hardware in sight, people writing on walls, and lots of other stuff to keep the creative flows running and enforce serendipidous encounters between talent at FB.
Keeping the culture right has all the elements of leadership focus and exemplary behaviour, signature HR policies and communicating the brand through all communication, behaviour and symbols.
